The Category 3 Hurricane made a landfall on the Caribbean island

The North-South Atlantic Track of the Caribbean Hurricane WHITE COLLIDER SUSY MISSING CYCLOTHES II: BREAKING IN THE ACCIARIUS

The Caribbean has already been ravaged by the effects of the storm, and at least two people died when it swept across the region earlier this week. It now boasts maximum sustained winds around 160 miles per hour as it tracks a course toward Jamaica and the Cayman Islands.

A west-northwest track is a common heading for an Atlantic hurricane. Many storms have hit the U.S., but the majority of them curved to the north. The forecast track is further south than it was previously predicted.

The NHC says that there is a high risk of injury or death to people and animals due to flying and falling debris. Almost all of the older manufactured homes will be destroyed. A high percentage of newer manufactured homes also will be destroyed,” and poorly built homes could see all of their walls collapse.

An update on the tropical storm-force winds from Barbados and the Caribbean Sea: Emergency evacuation guidelines and public warnings for Jamaica after Beryl the earliest Atlantic hurricane

Despite passing south of Barbados, Barbados Meteorological Services Director Sabu Best said in an update early Monday that wind gusts were dangerously strong, from 50 up to 70 mph, urging residents to stay inside until an “all clear” has been announced. He said that rain had not been as bad as expected.

The NHC said that the storm was heading through the Windward Islands and onto the Caribbean Sea.

On its current forecast path, the earliest tropical storm-force winds are expected to hit Central America Wednesday night. Mexico’s coastal states of Quintana Roos and Yucatan will likely feel those winds on Thursday.

Near-record warm ocean temperatures in the Atlantic were cited as one reason National Weather Service forecasters have predicted an unusually active Atlantic hurricane season, with up to 25 named storms.

The earliest Atlantic Hurricane to reach a Category 5 was made on Monday by the powerful storm.

National Hurricane Center director Michael Brennan said in a video briefing Tuesday morning that people in Jamaica should prepare for “multiple life-threatening” hazards from Beryl.

All of Jamaica remained under a hurricane warning on Tuesday, meaning that meteorologists expect hurricane conditions to occur in the area and “preparations to protect life and property should be rushed to completion,” the National Hurricane Center said.

On Tuesday morning after Beryl had passed, Grenada Prime Minister Dickon Mitchell said the nation was “coming to grips with the reality of the devastation” caused by the storm, particularly in the islands of Carriacou and Petite Martinique. He said at least two deaths had been reported.

“The situation is grim,” Mitchell said after speaking with a local official on the islands. “There is no power. There is almost complete destruction of homes and buildings on the island. Many roads are cut off because of the large amount of debris strewn all over the roads.
