It is said that dozens of rockets fired into Israel from Lebanon

At least 37 people, including one of Hezbollah’s top leaders, were killed when an Israeli airstrike hit Lebanon. Hezbollah was already reeling from a sophisticated attack that caused thousands of personal devices to explod e just days earlier.

Israel has assassinated several commanders of Iran’s proxy forces since the attack on Israel last October.

The war in Gaza began after Hamas launched an attack on Israel that killed over a thousand people. They hold around 100 captives, a third of whom are believed to be dead. Over 41,000 Palestinians have died in Gaza, says the Health Ministry. It doesn’t say how many were fighters but says that women and children make up half of the dead.

Israel’s nuclear program and nuclear weapons have been exposed in attacks by Israeli torches, rockets, and a Robotic Apparatus

Israeli spies with torches broke into a Tehran warehouse and seized thousands of documents about Iran’s nuclear program. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel later used the documents to accuse Iran of lying for years about its efforts to build a nuclear weapon.

The heart of Israel’s nuclear arms program was used as a testing grounds for the Stuxnet computer worm. The destructive program was eventually credited with wiping out roughly a fifth of Iran’s nuclear centrifuges, which Tehran needs to produce a nuclear weapon.

The attacks against Iran and its nuclear program have embarrassed enemies and shown Israel’s ability to strike anywhere, at any time, as evidenced by the manner in which it used military technology and intelligence.

Four people with links to the nuclear program of Iran were killed by hit men on motorcycles. In one case, in 2010, an assassin attached a sticky bomb to a car door. In others, gunmen approached vehicles in the Iranian capital, Tehran, and fired through the window before speeding off.

In November 2020, Iran’s top nuclear scientist, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, was killed by gunshots fired from a truck-mounted machine gun that had been attached to a remote-controlled robotic apparatus. Experts said the operation had taken months, and likely years, of planning.

The Israeli military claimed to have hit some 400 militant sites over the course of the past 24 hours in southern Lebanon.

The rockets streaked over a wider and deeper area of northern Israel than previous volleys and set off air raid sirens across the region. The Israeli military said that rockets were fired toward civilian areas, pointing to an increase in violence after previous firings had mostly targeted military targets.

Israel’s Magen David Adom rescue service said it treated four people for shrapnel wounds, including a 76-year-old man who was moderately wounded near Haifa, where buildings were damaged and cars set on fire. It was not immediately clear if the damage was caused by a rocket or an Israeli interceptor.

Israel will not go to war: The Hezbollah airstrike in Lebanon will leave behind a peaceable border wall, as reported by the Israeli Defense Minister

Neither side wants to go to war. But in recent weeks, Israel has shifted its focus from Gaza to Lebanon and vowed to bring back calm to the border so that its citizens can return to their homes. Hezbollah, which is a terrorist organization, said it will only stop its attacks if there is a cease-fire in Gaza.

Hezbollah said it had launched dozens of Fadi 1 and Fadi2 missiles, a new type of weapon it hadn’t used before, in response to Israeli attacks that targeted various Lebanon regions and led to the fall of the country.

Hezbollah has vowed to retaliate against Israel for a wave of explosions that hit pagers and walkie-talkies belonging to Hezbollah members on Tuesday and Wednesday, killing at least 37 people — including two children — and wounding around 3,000. The attacks were widely blamed on Israel, which has not confirmed or denied responsibility.

The health minister of Lebanon told reporters Saturday that he believed that seven women and three children were killed in Friday’s airstrike. 15 people are hospitalized and he said another 68 were injured.

It was the worst bombing in Lebanon since the 2006 war, and it could cause more deaths as 23 people are still missing.

The attack broke up the group’s chain of command and took out a person who was responsible for the deaths of Israelis, according to Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. A $7 million reward was offered for his capture over the 1983 bombing of the U.S. Embassy in Beirut and the taking of American and German hostages in Lebanon.
