Tyson’s final fight with a woman claimed to have raped him on a limousine: The case of Justine Paradise

He was accused of rape by a woman who said he had raped her in a limousine in the early ’90s. She filed a lawsuit seeking $5 million for physical, psychological and emotional injury from the alleged incident. Tyson denied the allegations in records filed last year in district court in the Northern District of New York. The case is still on and Tyson’s team are due next week to file their latest submissions.

The fight was originally scheduled for July 20 but had to be postponed when Tyson was treated for a stomach ulcer after falling ill on a flight. His record is now 50-7 with 44 knockouts

TikToker Justine Paradise accused Paul of sexual assault. Paradise says that Paul forced her to have sex. These accusations were denied by Paul.

The younger Paul brother had a brief acting career with a recurring role on Disney’s Bizaardvark from 2016-2018. Soon after leaving the show, he began his boxing career with an exhibition match against fellow YouTuber Deji Olatunji. Paul won by technical knockout. His first professional fight was in 2020 against YouTuber AnEsonGib, who he defeated in a technical knockout in the first round.

Paul, 27, rose to fame on social media platforms with viral six-second videos on Vine and prank content with his older brother, Logan Paul, on YouTube. Paul has 20 million subscribers on his own channel.

Paul won an eight-round unanimous decision over Tyson as the hits didn’t match the hype in a fight between the 27-year-old YouTuber-turned-boxer and the former heavyweight champion in his first sanctioned pro bout in almost 20 years.

The fight was the first for Barrios since he was named theWBC’s 147-pound champ when Crawford moved up.

Barrios retained the title with a draw with Ramos. Ramos dominated the middle rounds as Barrios was in control early. Each had a knockdown in the 12-round bout.

During the Paul bout, Tyson appeared to have one of his gloves in his mouth as he bit Holyfield on the ear. He was asked if he had a problem with his mouth.

The fight set a Texas record for combat sports with a gate of $18 million, according to organizers, but the feed on the streaming platform was spotty at best. Netflix has more than 280 million subscribers globally.

“I have so much respect for him,” Paul said. I wanted to take him down and knock him out because of the violence between us after he slapped me. As the rounds went on, it went away.

“I didn’t prove nothing to anybody, only to myself,” Tyson said when asked what it meant to complete the fight. “I’m not one of those guys that looks to please the world. I am happy with what I can do.

Tyson sat back and waited for Paul to come to him with a few exceptions. It was quite the contrast to the co-main event, another slugfest between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano in which Taylor kept her undisputed super lightweight championship with another disputed decision.

“I was trying to hurt him a little bit,” said Paul, who improved to 11-1. “I was scared he was going to hurt me. I was trying to hurt him. I did my best. I did my best.”

Even fewer rounds than the normal 10 or 12 and two-minute rounds instead of three, along with heavier gloves designed to lessen the power of punches, couldn’t do much to generate action.

Fans were angry with the pre-fight demeanor, but they gave up the hate when they heard the boos for a fight that drew plenty of questions about its legitimacy.

Paying homage to one of boxing’s all-time greats doesn’t matter to the fans that filled the stadium for the Cowboys game.
