He added that the country will “take all necessary actions” to protect its nuclear facilities from Israeli attacks. The comments come after Israel carried out airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities in retaliation for recent rocket attacks on its territory.

University of Oldenburg and Sweden’s Lund University conducted experiments to see if the migratory orientations of moths were affected by the nightly movements of stars and moon. The experiments were conducted under clear starry skies during autumn 2023 (over three nights during the last week of March). The moths were caught in the Australian Alps and ran through two experiments in the dead of night.

Researchers have used UV LEDs and PNG files to create randomized night sky stimulus images for experiments in autumn 2018 and spring 2019. Screenshots, cut in a circular shape using CorelDRAW X5, were taken and saved as PNG files (300), with a colour intensity equal to the mean of all pixels in the test stimulus that were not part of a star.

A shooting suspect is in custody

Vance Boelter, a 57-year-old man suspected in the shooting of a Minnesota lawmaker and her husband, has been arrested, police said. Boelter posed as a police officer and shot Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark Hortman, inside their home on Saturday, police added. “If officers hadn’t encountered Boelter at Melissa Hortman’s house, forcing him to abandon his vehicle, this would’ve continued,” police further said.
