Trump and Putin in Moscow: “We’re coming to a resolution of the Ukrainian problem” and “there’s no room left for peace”

Trump said on Monday that it was a bad situation in Russia and a bad situation in Ukraine. The situation in Ukraine is not good, but we will try to work a peace agreement, ceasefire and peace. I think we will be able to do it.

Last week, Ukraine agreed to a U.S. plan for a 30-day ceasefire. The United States immediately ended its pause on sharing intel with Ukranian.

Putin also questioned who would monitor the deal across the front line, as well as what penalties would be for violating its terms. The idea of a contingent from NATO countries has been repeatedly rejected by Russian officials.
