Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos called US President Donald Trump to discuss a report claiming Amazon was planning to increase prices due to tariffs. Trump told reporters that Bezos “did the right thing” after the president called him to discuss the reported plan for Amazon to show how tariff costs were increasing prices. Trump added that Bezos “did the right thing”.
