US President Donald Trump has signed an executive order to designate Mexican drug traffickers as terrorist organisations. “We need to see the security component of the US-Mexico border relation ingrained with the trade and immigration conversation,” Mexican President Andrés Manuel Lopez Obrador said. Mexico had opposed the designation, saying it could jeopardize Mexico’s sovereignty.
