Anthropic, an artificial intelligence (AI) platform, has announced that its AI-based Claude chatbot, Claude 3.5 Sonnet, has been tested to be better than models from Facebook, Google, and OpenAI. Anthropic said Claude 3.5 Sonnet scored better than models on popular artificial intelligence tests, including a graduate level test of expertise in biology, physics, and chemistry.
Perplexity is a hitting machine
US-based AI search engine startup Perplexity, which was recently accused of plagiarising content, says it’s an artificial intelligence-powered search engine that provides concise, real-time answers to user queries by pulling information from recently published articles and indexing the web daily. It’s also used by search engines to catalog the contents of the open internet and make it easier to find.
What to expect at the Apple event in ten years?
Apple will hold its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in San Francisco’s AT&T Park on June 8 and 9. During the WWDC, the company is expected to launch an updated version of Siri and a new operating system for Macs. Apple is also expected to launch a new iPhone that will run on an artificial intelligence (AI) chip.
After the security backlash, microsoft will switch off recall
Microsoft recently announced the update of Copilot+ PCs’ set-up experience to give users a “clearer choice” to opt in to saving snapshots using Microsoft’s’recall’ feature. The feature is designed to let users record their PC history in the cloud. It allows users to save personal data in a “perfect, artificial intelligence-enabled memory”.
