Human body mysteries are being explored by cellular atlases

Researchers at Johns Hopkins University have built a human neural organoid cell atlas of over 1.7 million cells using a combination of transcriptomic technologies. The atlas was powered by 36 single-cell RNA-sequencing data sets, and was created using a computational approach. Researchers inferred the origin of metaplastic cells by looking at the data sets and comparing them with stem cells.
