Barbados Meteorological Services Director Sabu Best said winds were dangerously strong from 50 up to 70kmph, urging residents to stay inside until an all-clear has been announced. Jamaica is under a hurricane warning, meaning meteorologists expect hurricane conditions to occur in the area.
