Over 90,000 people in Lebanon have fled their homes amid Israel’s airstrikes this week, a UN official said on Tuesday. The UN refugee agency said that 40,000 people had sought shelter in hundreds of schools because the government of Lebanon didn’t want them in their own homes. Israel has carried out airstrikes in southern Lebanon and the Bekaa region to the northeast.
