Not enough countries are increasing their renewable energy plans

A report by Breakthrough Institute found that over 130 countries pledged to triple their renewable capacity last year, but only eight of them have updated their national renewable energy targets. The report said the existing plans in 2023 were already enough to double global renewable energy capacity.
