Canadian soccer teams have been using drones for years

The head of the Canadian Olympic Committee David Shoemaker has said that they continue to be “shocked and disappointed” with the spying scandal that led to the suspension of Canada women’s national soccer team coach. The scandal came to light after reports claimed that the Canadian team spied on its Japanese counterpart during the Tokyo Olympics in 2021 and the 2023 Women’s World Cup.
