Scientists at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada have discovered a new way to break the bond between a molecule and its constituent. Researchers used carbon-hydrogen absorption to break the bond and the overall molecule down to smaller constituent parts. “This is a first step toward a solar-powered approach,” a researcher said.
