The US President Donald Trump on Sunday blamed California’s Governor Gavin Newsom for the state’s wildfires, saying he’d blocked an infusion of water to Southern California. At least 16 people have died and over 12,000 buildings have been destroyed amid the wildfires. Trump claimed he had blocked an infusion of water to Southern California over concerns about how it would affect a threatened fish species.
