Wildfires in the US’ Los Angeles and Ventura counties have forced the evacuation of over 1 lakh people since Tuesday, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said on Thursday. The wildfires, fueled by Santa Ana winds, were caused by a combination of long-standing drought and strong winds that blow from the high desert ofNevada and Utah into Southern California.
