Rapid 3D-printing could be used on space missions

A syringe-based system for dynamic interface printing using a high-resolution, low-resolution optical projection module was developed. The system’s position was controlled by a 50 ml syringe connected to print head with a silicone and pressurized tube. Acoustic modulation of the air–liquid interface was achieved by direct manipulation of the air volume within the print head.
