Thousands of people on Saturday protested in Israel against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s decision to resume war with Gaza. The protesters carried placards that read, “We will never surrender” and “How can we surrender?” The protests came a day after the Israeli military launched airstrikes on Gaza Strip in response to rockets fired at the country from the enclave.
