There are some 1,500 January 6 rioters who have been promised pardons by Trump

US President Donald Trump pardoned former Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio, who had been in prison for two decades for a crime he didn’t commit. Trump also commuted the sentences of 14 people convicted in connection with the riots at the US Capitol in 2018. Tarrio was sentenced to five years’ probation for seditious conspiracy.
