The app will be updated to sidestep Apple’s payment system

Spotify has said that Apple has approved a new app update for its US app that will “freely” show price and link to purchase information. The update will allow creators to accept payment from outside of Apple’s app payment system. The update comes after Epic Games won a legal battle against Apple over App Store fees on payments made outside of apps.
