There was a midair crash in Washington, D.C

A pilot and two crew members have been killed after an American Airlines regional jet collided with a helicopter while landing at the Washington, DC airport on Wednesday. The passengers on the flight were members of the US figure skating team. The aircraft was carrying athletes, coaches, and family members of the US figure skating team.
