Carter’s White House term stirs controversy for more than 40 years

Former US PresidentJimmy Carter’s chief domestic policy adviser, Eizenstat, has launched a book titled ‘President Carter: The White House years’. Eizenstat claims that the book will provide a “first-hand assessment” of Carter’s tenure as the US leader. The book says that Carter left office with his Gallup poll approval rating in the low 30s.
