Hamas choreographed a show of force for the Hostages
Hamas on Saturday handed over four Israeli female soldiers, who were abducted in Gaza during the conflict with Israel last year, to the Red Cross. The soldiers were abducted from their base on the Gaza border and were held by Hamas since October 7, 2023. They were freed in a ceremony organised by Hamas in the Gaza City.
Israel launched a strike on a shelter in central Gaza
UN’s aid chief for Palestine Philippe Lazzarini has said that a school compound in Gaza City is not an armed group and that 6,000 displaced people there are sheltering there. He further said that the school compound is sheltering people who have left their homes due to fighting between Israel and Palestinian militants. The school is in Nuseirat district.
