Meta users are not being left to wade through hate and misinformation

Meta has completely rolled back the fact-checking policies that were put in place after it was revealed that the tech platform was involved in influence operations that were designed to influence elections and promote violence. Meta’s chief global affairs officer said the decision was made to allow more topics to be discussed on the company’s platforms.
