The season for hurricanes has begun

The US’ National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has predicted a “very active” hurricane season in the Atlantic, which is expected to generate 13 to 19 named storms between June 1 and November 30. According toAccuWeather, there were 18 named Atlantic storms in 2024, with 5 hurricanes that made landfall in the US. “We want people to prepare,” AccuWeather Chief Meteorologist said.
