The auto industry is crying out for help because of Trump’s tariffs

Nearly 60% of US citizens think that President Donald Trump is concentrating too much on tariffs and not enough on lowering prices, a CBS News poll found. Inflation has fallen since peaking in 2022, but the price of goods is still very high and will likely go up even higher as tariffs take effect.
