Two astronauts from NASA return to Earth after a long trip in space
NASA astronauts Suni Williams and Billy Wilmore returned to Earth from space on Tuesday after spending nine months at International Space Station. They were among the first crew members to be sent to space under NASA’s Commercial Crew Program. The return flight was delayed because of issues with the Starliners flight to the space station.
There are conversations about the moment
Boeing’s Crew Dragon spacecraft, which is slated to fly astronauts to the International Space Station, will undergo extensive tests at NASA’s White New Mexico Test Facility this week. NASA said it will conduct simulations of dockings, launches, and landing burns to see if they can duplicate the problems. Starliner had to be diverted to a launchpad on May 6 due to a helium leak.
