The Justice Department wants to make public only parts of their report on the Trump cases

US Special Counsel Jack Smith has asked the Department of Justice to release his report on President-elect Donald Trump’s mishandling of classified documents by January 20. Smith had earlier dismissed the case against Trump, who is accused of illegally leaking classified documents to supporters after his election victory. However, the special counsel has been asked to submit his final report to the Attorney General.
