US judge James Boasberg, who ordered a halt to President Donald Trump’s deportations of over 200 migrants from Venezuela, said he has been told that the President may not order deportations again. Boasberg, who was appointed to the federal bench by former US President Barack Obama in 2013, said that the deportations were “not within the scope of executive authority”.
