At least 15 people have been killed by drones and missiles by Russia
North Korean and Russian soldiers had pushed Ukrainian troops out of most of Kursk region by March this year, a Ukrainian commander has said. Russia has agreed to supply long-range Shahed-style drones and improved accuracy of short-range missiles to the North Koreans, Viktor Budanov, chief of the military intelligence of Ukraine, told The War Zone.

Russia has claimed to have taken over two towns in Ukraine’s Kursk region, the biggest incursion of Russian forces into Ukrainian soil since World War II. The announcement comes after Russia’s defence ministry said it had taken over the towns of Pivnichne and Vyimka. Russia-backed separatists in Ukraine’s Donetsk region claim to control the country’s second-largest city, Povkrosk.
Moscow scrambles to respond as Ukraine pushes offensive inside Russia
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russia brought war to Ukraine and should feel bad about it. He said in his nightly video address that Russia “brought war to our land and should feel bad about it”. Russian military officials said they have sent reinforcements to Kursk, that they were defeating the Ukrainian forces and expected to regain control of the border soon.
