US President Donald Trump has ordered the deployment of 4,000 National Guard troops in Los Angeles amid protests against deportations by the Trump administration. Trump’s order comes after US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) conducted raids on Wednesday and Thursday. Meanwhile, the state of California filed a lawsuit demanding the removal of the troops from Los Angeles.
In Southern California, the fires started to spread to Hollywood Hills
Five schools in Los Angeles, California will be closed on Wednesday after two wildfires in the city’s Pacific Palisades area started within a hours of each other on Tuesday night. Over 2 lakh customers in Los ANGELES and Ventura counties are without power. The fires have burned more than 8,500 acres of land in Los Angeles county and over 6,000 acres in Ventura county.
