What do researchers think of the fact-checking on Facebook?

Facebook’s fact-checking platform Meta has added a ‘False: Verified by Animal Poltico’ label to posts after they are rated as “false” by third party fact-checkers. Meta said the move was to counter fact checkers’ political bias and censorship. Facebook had created the Third Party Fact-Checkers programme to address misinformation on its platforms.
