The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the US Homeland Security Department have said that “many of the reported sightings are actually manned aircraft, operating lawfully”. “There are no reported or confirmed drone sightings in any restricted air space”, they added. This comes after New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy raised concerns over the US government’s response to recent drone sightings in the state.
