The U.S. conducted airstrikes on Iran

US officials said that the strikes on three Iran nuclear sites were aimed at preventing Iran from building a nuclear weapon. This comes after Israel carried out air strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities in response to US military action. The Israeli military said that the strikes were in response to Iran’s “hostile behaviour” against its forces in Syria.
