It ended in dispute and uncertainty, but there was hope for Venezuela’s election

A video has surfaced online which shows Venezuelan Defence Minister Mara Corina Machado’s supporters pushing her caravan along during protests against President Nicols Maduro’s victory in Sunday’s presidential election. The video shows people running up to give a flag, rosary or other sentimental item to Machado. “He’s the only President who cares about us…the people, the poor, hardworking people,” Maduro said.
