FBI has said that Shamsud-Din Jabbar, the driver of the pickup truck that rammed into a crowd in New Orleans on New Year’s Day, acted alone. The FBI was searching for additional suspects who may have aided in the attack after they change their initial assessment that it was someone else who did it. Jabbar was killed in the attack.

The man suspected in New Orleans truck attack that killed 14 people on New Year’s Day has been identified as 42-year-old Texas resident Shamsud-Din Jabbar. Authorities suspect that Jabbar acted alone and there is “no definitive link” between the attack in New Orleans and a Cybertruck explosion in Las Vegas on Wednesday, an official told The New York Times.
