A bloody conflict was created 12 days after Nasrallah was killed
Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah on Sunday said that the group’s military chief, Ibrahim Akil, was killed by Israel in an air strike in Lebanon’s Beirut on Saturday. The Israeli military said that Akil, who had served as Hezbollah’s military commander in southern Lebanon during the 2006 war against Israel, was killed in a strike near the Lebanese city of Sidon.
