The US National Weather Service (NWSL) on Friday issued a Lake-effect snow warning for parts of New York and Michigan through Monday. The NWSL said the lake-effect snow is expected to hit New York and Michigan at the same time, making travel extremely difficult in both areas. Parts of Michigan recorded over 2 feet (63 cm) of snow on Friday.
