Elon Musk’s SpaceX has reportedly offered federal employees a “fork in the road offer” to leave the firm if they wish to remain in their jobs. The email was reportedly sent by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), the federal agency responsible for hiring, firing, and spending on federal employees. It is not based on any law, regulation or anything else, NPR reported.

After US Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign released a parody video that appeared to be altered, SpaceX CEO Elon Musk tweeted, “I checked with renowned world authority…Professor Suggon Deeznutz, and he said parody is legal in America.” Musk replied, “I checked with renowned world authority, Professor Suggon Deeznutz, and he said parody is legal in America.”
The Falcon 9 rockets have been grounded
SpaceX said that a liquid oxygen leak developed on the second stage of its Falcon 9 rocket, which was carrying Starlink satellites, during the launch on Thursday night. The rocket’s upper stage engine, which was supposed to be used to raise perigee, couldn’t be performed due to an issue with the engine. SpaceX said it will investigate the incident in conjunction with the FAA.
