The Justice Department subpoenaed communications records of eight reporters at CNN, The New York Times and The Washington Post, as part of the investigation into the sources of leaked classified information associated with US President Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign, a report said. The leak investigations targeted a greater number of congressional staffers, almost all of which were Republicans, it added.
