Nearly 1,300 Syrians were killed in 72 hours of clashes and revenge

Over 400 people have been killed in the conflict between Syria and Turkey, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said. Fighters affiliated with the Syrian government have killed most of the civilians in the conflict, it added. The Syrian government said that it has rejected “undocumented allegations accusing government forces of committing violations” and will hold to account those found to have harmed civilians.

What Syria’s revolution could have on the Middle East

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoan on Sunday said that the US airstrike on Islamic State (ISIS) bases in Syria was a result of an “attack on peace” in Syria. Erdoan said that he had “no idea” about the strike and added that it was carried out by US forces as well. US-led airstrikes have been launched at ISIS strongholds in Syria.
