Researchers at University of California, Irvine have revealed that fat cells in the ear and the nose remain the same size after being fed a high-fat diet in mice. However, researchers found that fat cells would shrink or swell if fed a low-fat diet. The idea that fat cells don’t have a functioning metabolism was suggested by that.
