The US military took a lead role in protests in Los Angeles over Trump’s immigration crackdown, Attorney-General Stuart J. Trump said on Monday, adding that the military’s deployment was meant to control the protesters. The protests were triggered by the arrest of several people during US Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) raids on June 30.
