The pioneers of drugs for obese people won the prestigious Lasker Award

A group of American scientists has won the Lasker Award for medical science for discovering how DNA triggers immune and inflammatory responses. Zhijian Chen from UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, was recognised in the basic research category for discovering how DNA triggers immune and inflammatory responses. The Vin Future Prize, the Antics and Richard DiMarchi were also presented with the award.
