Climate risk for younger generations is set to increase

A study published in Nature Communications found that people living in a world without climate change would have a one in 10,000 chance of experiencing extreme weather. Researchers defined the emergence threshold for Ultra-High Exposure to Climate Extremes (ULE) as 99.99th percentile of grid-scale samples of pre-industrial lifetime exposure.
